The Renting Process
Finding a new home should be simple. Here is an overview of how the rental process works—from when you start looking until you hold the key in your hand and lock the door for the very first time.
1. You’re looking for an apartment
We continuously post all available apartments on finn.no, hybel.no, and on our own website. Don’t see any listings? Unfortunately, we don’t currently have anything available—please check back again soon!
2. You find an apartment you’re interested in and want to apply for
To apply for an apartment with us, you must first create a user account on hybel.no. Once you’ve done that, you can submit applications for available apartments.
There, you’ll also eventually be able to find all the relevant information about your rental agreement—if the apartment becomes yours.
3. Viewing (Property Visit)
If you’re offered a viewing, we’ll contact you directly via hybel.no. During the viewing, you’ll get to look around the apartment and receive information on what to expect as a tenant with Frost Eiendom. Of course, you’ll also have the opportunity to talk with us and get answers to any questions you might have.
4. Offer of an Apartment
You’ll hear back from us within 2–3 days after the viewing to let you know if the apartment will be your new home! At that point, we will also agree on a signing appointment and your move-in date.
5. Signing the Lease
Sign the rental contract digitally on Hybel.no—quick and easy!
6. Move-In Day
Ola Frosts Veg: When your move-in day approaches, you’ll pick up your keys at our office in Teglgården.
Nærbyen: On move-in day, we’ll meet you at the apartment to give you your keys. Together, we’ll go through the apartment and review fire safety and other practical things it’s good to know. You’ll also receive an information folder with useful details about both the apartment and the building.
Frostgården: On move-in day, you’ll meet one of our building hosts—they actually live in the building and know it well. They’re the ones who hand you the keys to your new home.
